Hello and a warm welcome.

My name is Louise Dale. I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor.

It can take great courage to reach out for support and I am glad you are here. My approach to therapeutic work is optimistic and creative; rooted in kindness and respect. In our work together, I will primarily be guided by you and will inquire compassionately as we dialogue and explore your experiences, poignant memories, thoughts, feelings and dreams. We will wonder about what makes you uniquely you.

As we gradually explore your experience of life, and gently attend to all that emerges, we will illuminate some of the choices and freedoms you might have and explore your feelings around these with appreciation and care for how difficult this process can be. I know from experience that life can be distressing and how lost we can sometimes feel. Being human is complex and complicated. I welcome you, whoever and however you are.

I offer therapeutic counselling to clients in Hove, Eastbourne and online.
